Baby Skin Care: Cetaphil (Review)

As a parent, your life has been transformed and have learned that baby always comes first, especially when it comes to health and well-being. For first time parents, bath time is a completely different story that unravels tons of questions in terms of trying to figure out when, how, and what.

Before moving forward with a skin care line, I had to do a lot of research before incorporating products onto the sensitive skin of baby. As an adult, you may have been exposed to many products and then discovered what works best for you, so when baby is exposed to their first product; it is actually a journey to see how they will react. However, all formulations for Cetaphil passed my baby’s initial test. Their products are dermatologist tested, pediatrician recommended, hypoallergenic and pH balanced, and free of parabens, colorants, and mineral oil.

The second thing that caught my attention was the fact that even though the products are safe and gentle for baby, they also provide lasting hydration (with the help of vitamins B5 and E, sunflower seed oil, sweet almond oil, and jojoba seed oil) which is totally needed to survive the cold Canadian winters. One of the main products of the Cetaphil Baby line is Calendula – a flower that calms and soothes the skin. Now name one baby who would not love that!

The products that my baby uses are the Wash & Shampoo, Ultra Moisturizing Wash, Daily Lotion, and Moisturizing Oil. Let me tell you that she absolutely loves them – especially when they are used to prep for massage time!

I personally give this product a 10/10! I love this company for thinking about different age groups. It is amazing to know that Cetaphil has been one of the few brands to stay away from harsh chemicals, especially for babies. I personally purchase the products on Amazon; however, you can find the products anywhere. Do not forget to check out their site for more products here, and get access to a couple of coupons!

What skincare products do you use for your baby? Let me know in the comments below!
