This post might seem biased because I’ve been using this brand’s concealers for 3 years now and haven’t bothered to try any other concealer in the market. I mean if you’re on the hunt for the perfect concealer, then look no further.
I got introduced to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer when I was getting my bridal makeup trial done and I fell in love, so I immediately purchased it. This concealer is amazing for so many reasons because –
- it is offered in 16 different shades, so it is truly for everyone
- it is full coverage, light weight and does not crease
- it made with the perfect formula that allows you to multitask – highlight, conceal, contour
- it not only conceals those blemishes, but also treats them (perks of an awesome formula?)
- it has the perfect applicator want that is mess-free
This concealer is retailed for $37, which is kind of expensive, but let me confirm that a little goes a LONG way. Since I’ve discovered this product, I rarely use foundation which helps when you’re not about that “full makeup face” life. I literally just apply this concealer around my dark circles and any imperfections that I might have, blend away with my damp beauty blender for a natural and even finish and voila! Rest assured, every time I use this technique, I get compliments asking about how I have the perfect and natural finish following with the question – which foundation do you use? So if you want the “I woke up like this” look, you can easily achieve it with this one product!
If you’re someone with oily skin and are looking for something matte. Then let me repeat, look no further! The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer comes in a soft matte version that will make you in awe. The exact same shades in a different formula – hello Soft Matte Complete Concealer! Now, about the word “matte”, you might be thinking of a dry and uncomfortable texture, but it’s not what you’re thinking…this is a solid cream concealer that blends onto your skin like it’s liquid with the perfect velvety touch. I don’t have oily skin, but I also use this concealer with the exact same ‘no foundation, just concealer’ technique and I get the same results. Sometimes I don’t even use a beauty blender because my fingers get the job done just fine. How awesome is that?
NARS is killing it with their concealer game and it’s so amazing to see a makeup brand have the words ‘diversity and inclusion’ written all over their products by making sure they have a products for EVERYONE!
Do you use any of these two concealers? If so, what do you think?
